ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Tuesday said that the eyesight of Kashmiris can be snatched but the dream of independence cannot be taken away.
Spokesman for the Foreign Office (FO) in a statement while quoting Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif said that the evil face of India would be unveiled at the international front.
According to spokesman Dr Faisal, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif made telephonic contacts with officials of different international institutions including the United Nations (UN) and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and drew their attention towards the brutalities perpetrated against innocent Kashmiris in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) by Indian forces. He asked them to play their role in stopping killings of innocent Kashmiris who are demanding their right to self-determination.
Khawaja Asif informed the leaders about fresh situation in the IHK and said he had issued directions to all Pakistani embassies abroad to highlight atrocities committed against innocent Kashmiris in their meetings being held on Friday regarding Kashmir solidarity day.
Pakistan has also condemned the use of force by Israel against defenceless Palestinians resulting in the death of several Palestinians and injuring many others in Gaza.
The Foreign Office called upon the international community to put an end to the blatant use of force and flagrant violation of human rights of Palestinian people. It said that establishment of a viable, independent and contiguous state of Palestine, on the basis of internationally agreed parameters, the pre-1967 borders, and with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, is the only sustainable guarantee for peace in the region.
