Four labourers injured in roof collapse

LAHORE: Four labourers sustained injuries when the roof of an under-construction building collapsed in the Defence police limits here on Monday.
Rescuers provided first aid to an injured and shifted others to General Hospital. The victims have been identified as Asif, son of Barkat, Ijaz, son of Bashir; and Waseem, son of Rafi. The rescuers said the building was under-construction in Jinnah Commercial Area in Phase-4 of Defence. The roof of the building collapsed soon after its completion. As a result, four labourers trapped under the debris. Rescue 1122 reached the scene and rescued the victims.
