Three siblings strangled in Lahore

LAHORE: Three children were found strangled in a flat in Askari 11 on Saturday.
The victims were identified as four-year-old Ibrahim, six-year-old Fatima and 10-year-old Zain. The victims’ mother Aneeka spotted them dead and raised alarm. Upon being informed, police arrived at the crime scene and removed the bodies to hospital for postmortem.
According to police, Aneeka was divorced by her husband after he suspected she had an extramarital affair with a man named Hassan Mustafa. She accused Hassan of suffocating her children by placing a pillow on their faces. Police have arrested Hassan Mustafa, and also taken the woman into their custody for questioning.
