Cantonment beautification project launched

PESHAWAR: The beautification and uplift drive of the Peshawar Cantonment has been launched to restore the old “Esthetic Look” of the British era urban locality.
A press release says the beautification and uplift project is being executed in phases. In the initial phase, a portion of Saddar Road and RA Bazar has been developed.
The existing footpath has been widened, area extended and renovated with beautiful design of coble tiles on Saddar Road.
The old hanging wires have been removed and the electric poles are covered with beautiful shed and preventive covers design.
