SZABUL admissions
Shaheed Zufliqar Ali Bhutto University of Law (SZABUL) announced its schedule for admissions for September 2018 on the basis of a pre-entry test to be held under the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan in the light of the apex court’s order of March 6, 2018.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar of the Supreme Court, hearing a petition filed by the Pakistan Bar Council for improvement in the legal education system, had made it mandatory for all candidates seeking admissions to appear in and pass the Law Admission Test (LAT) which will be held by the commission throughout Pakistan twice a year.
Addressing a meeting of teaching and non-teaching officers on Monday, SZABUL Vice Chancellor Justice (retd) Qazi Khalid Ali said the bench had formed a special committee on structural reforms in the legal education system at federal level.
