KARACHI: Former Davis Cup captain Rashid Malik has completed a coaching assignment in Karachi on the invitation of Sindh Tennis Association and International Lawn Tennis Club of Pakistan.
Rashid visited Karachi for 11 days to coach boys and girls at various schools and clubs of the city.Visiting various government and private schools, he gave tennis coaching lessons to more than 500 boys and girls.
He brought 30 tennis racquets and distributed those at the government schools. Rashid promised to visit again later this year for a similar assignment. Khalid Rehmani of STA said on the occasion that KTA was going to build a tennis court at Landhi Govt School soon and would also provide a mini net and poles to a government school in Lines Area.
