What about schools?
February 25, 2018
Although the Sindh government has been trying to deal with the issues faced by residents of Karachi, there is still one problem to which no attention has been paid so far. The sad state of government schools calls for immediate action. But the authorities are not doing enough to uplift the education sector. A majority of people cannot afford high tuition fees charged by private schools.
This doesn’t mean that these people should be robbed of their right to quality education. The higher authorities must draft a strategy to cope with the problem. Education reforms should be introduced at government schools. The authorities must ensure that free and quality education is being given at state-owned schools.
