Khattak says PTI to defeat rivals in elections
NOWSHERA: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak on Friday said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was disqualified due to his flawed policies.
Speaking at a public meeting in Dheri area here, he said the former primer could not complete his third term as prime minister due to his short sightedness and own mistakes.Pervez Khattak said the corruption and plunder of funds meant for the projects of public interest over the past decades tarnished the country’s immerge in the international community and earned a bad name for the country.
He said it was the right time to take decisions in the national interest and put the country back on the right track. The chief minister also criticised the Awami National Party (ANP), saying the party leaders indulged in corruption and plundered the national wealth when it was in power.
“The ANP leaders appointed corrupt people to the government posts and made new records of corruption,” he alleged. The chief minister said the front men of ANP leaders promoted malpractices in the state institutions and everything was on sale in the previous ANP and Pakistan People’s Party coalition government in the province.
Pervez Khattak said the same people had become active once again as the elections were drawing near. “They are once against trying to hoodwink the people with new attracting slogans to lure them into the trap,” he went on to say.
The chief minister said the opposition parties were uniting against the PTI and trying to enter into an alliance against it but, added that the PTI would defeat all of them in the next elections.
