Dry spell to continue

LAHORE: Dry weather continued to prevail in the city here on Tuesday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours. Met officials said a shallow westerly wave is likely to affect northern parts of the country tonight. They predicted mainly cold and dry weather in most parts of the country. Met officials said partly cloudy weather likely in upper parts of the country with few chances of light rain (light snow over the hills) in Rawalpindi, Malakand, Hazara divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. No rainfall was recorded in any part of the country. Met officials said Tuesday’s lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Skardu where mercury dropped down to -06°C while in Lahore maximum temperature was 25°C, minimum was 11°C and humidity level was 32 pc.
