IHC accepts Tayyaba disappearance report as part of case record
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has accepted a plea of advocate general (AG) to make a report pertaining to disappearance of domestic help minor Tayyaba part of the child torture case record.
A single bench of the IHC, headed by Justice Amir Farooq, took up the case for hearing on Monday. SHO I-9 Police Station Khalid Awan appeared in the court in person. Defence counsel completed his cross questioning in respect of Khalid Mehmood.
The SHO told the court that Section 201 is the law related to concealment of evidence. Tayyaba disappearance report was written on Dec 18, 2016 and Section 201 was added under the charges of concealing evidence on the basis of report. The AG and the counsel for the accused Raja Khurram will argue on the evidence. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till Feb 22.
