Japan outplay Oman in 3-nation hockey

LAHORE: Japan had an easy three-nil win over the hosts Oman in the 3-nation hockey tournament at Muscat’s Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex on Friday.Scorers for the winning team were Shota Yamada 2 and Hirotaka Wikuri. After the conclusion of the first phase of the double league, Pakistan and Japan are tied with four points each with one win and a draw.Oman have lost both their matches. In the first game of the second phase, Pakistan, who drew with Japan on Thursday, play Oman on Saturday.
