Jahangir Siddiqui Co remained the hot stock with 21.359 million shares exchanging hands. The scrip gained nine paisas and closed at Rs8 per share. Analysts said the share invited investors’ interest after JSCL announced above expected profits for 2014 with the earnings per share of 25 paisas as compared to 24 paisas last year.

Fatima Fertilizer also remained in the limelight with a turnover of 3.823 million shares. It gained Rs1.68 to close at Rs38.06 per share. Analysts said growth in its profits is expected due to debottlenecking of its ammonia plant and expected monetary easing.
