THQ Hospital Ahmadpur East to be affiliated with PHC
BAHAWALPUR: The Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Ahmadpur East has become the first THQ hospital of Punjab to be affiliated with the Punjab Healthcare Commission. Five DHQ hospitals are associated with the Punjab Healthcare Commission and the THQ Hospital Ahmadpur East is the sixth overall and the first THQ hospital to be affiliated under the programme. In this connection, a function was held at the hospital to celebrate this achievement in which chief guest Bahawalpur Deputy Commissioner Rana Muhammad Saleem gave away certificates of merit to the staff of the hospital. He congratulated THQ Hospital Ahmadpur East Medical Superintendent Dr Aurangzeb and his team for becoming the first THQ hospital to get linked with the Punjab Healthcare Commission. The DC also visited various sections of the hospital while the MS briefed him about the performance of the hospital. District Health Authority Chief Executive Officer Dr Fayyaz Anwar and Ahmadpur East Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Tayyab were also present.
