She’s not the only one

The entire nation was distressed after hearing about the Kasur incident. Zainab was the eleventh girl who was raped and then killed. The sexual exploitation of children is widespread in Kasur. The nationwide outrage contributed a lot towards the speedy justice, however, there is one thing which needs to be highlighted: the applause and clap of the audience present at the press conference held by the chief minister of Pakistan. A father has lost her daughter. He is still in grief.

The government should be reminded that it is its duty to bring criminals to book and to ensure that such heinous crimes are never repeated. So many girls have become a victim of this crime in the past as well. The authorities haven’t done anything so far to catch the culprit. Although the little girl’s killer has been caught, the authorities must be reminded that there are other families who are waiting for justice.
