KARACHI: Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi was on Monday elected as President of the National Rifle Association of Pakistan (NRAP).
In the elections of the NRAP Executive Committee held in Islamabad, Admiral Abbasi was unanimously elected to head NRAP.Razi Ahmed Khan, nominated by the Sindh Rifle Association, was elected as the Secretary General. Also from Sindh, Olympian Khurram Inam, one of the most celebrated shooters from Pakistan, was elected as the associate secretary while Cdre Ghazanfar Abbas, COO of Karachi Golf Club and a seasoned shooter, was elected as Vice President.
Javaid Shamshad Lodhi was elected as Executive Vice President.The meeting was attended by representatives of four provinces, Federal Rifle Association (FRA), the three armed services and other affiliated units of NRAP.
