Islamabad: A cultural and social event celebrating the music, dance and culture of Cuba enthralled Islooites with the mesmerising performances by the artists.
The event titled “Havana De Noche 2015” was inaugurated by ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Pakistan, Jesus Zenen Buergo Concepcion, whereas the event was organized by a private and exclusive event company, REVEL.
On the occasion Jesus expressed “Pakistan and Cuba enjoy cordial relations that are growing day by day. The present initiative on the part of REVEL will help more to introduce the cultural and musical traditions of Cuba in Pakistan.”
Talking to APP, REVEL’s executive director Faisal Zafer said, “The present initiative aims at acquainting the people of Pakistan about the culture and musical traditions of Cuba” adding we have tried our best to bring the glimpses of culture of Cuba through this event besides preserving and projecting our own culture.
A large number of people belonging to different walks of life, including diplomats, politicians, social activists and journalists attended the event.
