CJCSC tells Nato about security measures along Pak-Afghan border
ISLAMABAD: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat has informed the Nato Military Committee about Pakistan Army’s efforts for regional peace. Addressing the Chiefs of Staff Session of Nato Military Committee at Brussels, he said special security measures have been taken along Pak-Afghan border including raising of additional FC forces and fencing. General Zubair highlighted efforts and achievements of Pakistan Armed Forces in counter-terrorism domain. According to ISPR, the meeting was attended by representatives of sixty-six Nato and partner nations that discussed peace and security matters. On the sidelines of the meeting, General Zubair met Chairman European Union Military Committee General Kostarakos and military representatives from Australia, Turkey, Jordan, Canada and Germany. – PPI
