5 cops terminated for links with criminals in Mansehra
MANSEHRA: District Police Officer Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari has terminated five policemen from service for having links with criminals and drug-peddlers.
A circular issued by the DPO office said that the accused were terminated for having links with criminals and were a cause of embarrassment to the department.
Also, transfer and posting orders of three police officers were notified by the office of provincial police chief. Superintendent of police (SP) investigation, Mansehra, Gul Zarin Khan was transferred and posted as SP Karakoram patrolling police force at Battagram. Mohammad Suleman, the acting SP Karakoram patrol police force Battagram, was transferred and posted as acting SP investigation in Mansehra. Tahir-ur-Rehman, the DSP security Peshawar, was transferred and posted acting SP investigation in Upper Kohistan.
