Stipend payment

In order to tackle the serious problem of unemployment, the federal government launched the National Internship Programme which aims at providing one-year-long paid internship opportunities to college graduates. This training provides student to polish their existing skills. After the training, these graduates have better chances of being employed by top companies. All is well for these people except for one thing: stipend payment.

Almost all countries pay stipend and salary until the fourth of each month. However, these students are never paid on time. In fact, sometimes they remain unpaid until the 20th of the month. It is a proven fact that a delay in payment demotivates an employee. The authorities must realise that these people work hard and carry out their duties in a responsible manner. Therefore the relevant department must ensure that these people are paid on time.
