Man kills brother over property dispute

KALAYA: A man killed his brother and injured his sister-in-law and 10-year-old niece over a property dispute in Bar Mohammadkhel area in lower Orakzai Agency on Saturday, official sources said.

The source said one Shafiq allegedly opened fire on his brother Nisar Ali, his wife and daughter after an exchange of harsh words, killing his brother Nisar Ali and injuring his wife and daughter.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where their condition was stated to be out of danger. The political administration arrested the accused and seized the weapons used in the crime. A case was also registered against him.
