LAHORE: Dry weather with partly cloudy conditions was witnessed in the city here Thursday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours. Met officials said weak trough is likely to persist over the most part of the country until today (Friday). They predicted that mainly partly cloudy and dry/cold weather is expected in most parts of the country. They predicted that very cold weather may be witnessed in Northern Areas, including Quetta division. They said foggy conditions are likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during night and morning hours. No rainfall was recorded anywhere across the country. Met officials said Thursday’s minimum temperature was recorded at Skardu where mercury dropped down to -10°C, while in Lahore, maximum temperature was 19°C, minimum was 4.8°C.
