LAHORE: Pakistan Medical Association (Centre) has condemned opposition from different segments against Chief Justice of Pakistan‘s suo motu action over ‘deteriorating condition’ in health and education sectors in Punjab.
According to a press release issued here on Sunday, PMA Centre President Prof Dr Ashraf Nizami, Secretary General Dr SM Qaiser Sajjad, Joint Secretary Dr Talha Khan Sherwani, PMA
Punjab President Dr Izhar Ch and others appreciated the act of the chief justice and said, “It was biggest dilemma of health and education sectors that medical education was turning into a business and lack of basic facilities is a serious negligence of the authorities concerned. In this situation, chief justice’s notice is remarkable”.
The office-bearers of PMA said facilities in health and education sectors are likely to get better through such efforts of rectification and Pakistan will flourish at international level. They appealed to the authorities not to give negative remarks about these efforts and let people have their right to health and education.
