Swat farmers to stage protest outside KP Assembly

MINGORA: The farmers belonging to Swat on Sunday announced to stage a protest outside the Provincial Assembly if their demands were not met forthwith.
The decision was announced by district president of farmers Mansoor Ali Gujjar at a meeting here. Awami Workers Party Pakistan (AWPP) central president Fanoos Gujjar and others office-bearers were present on the occasion.
Led by Awami Workers Party Pakistan (AWPP) central president Fanoos Gujjar, the caravan of farmers would leave for Peshawar early on Monday. "We will gather outside the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly to lodge our protest," he added. Later, talking to media persons, AWPP central president Fanoos Gujjar said the protest would continue till the acceptance of demands.
