Illegal CNG station unearthed

Lahore : FIA and SNGPL officials have unearthed an illegal CNG station setup at Gulshan Ravi bypassing the connection on main gas pipeline.
According to FIA Deputy Director Jamil Ahmad Mayo, an illegal setup of CNG station was established at Bangalow 411-B Gulshan Ravi without permission of SNGPL and OGRA. Beside loss of billions of rupees to the government exchequer, the illegal operation was being done in a densely populated area, endangering the lives of people as it was located in the densely populated locality, the official said, adding any accident due to this unsafe operation could have been catastrophic. Moreover, a school was also attached to it. FIA has registered an FIR under Section 462-C PPC against accused Ata ur Rehman.
