Electrification in Sector G-14 in progress

Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) has made payment of Rs190.2 million to the Islamabad Electric Supply Company ((Iesco) for laying electricity network in Sector G-14/3, where development work in some pockets is in progress.

An official of FGEHF on Thursday said that work on laying underground cables and installation of transformers, ducts, etc., would be completed by mid of March, next year. This sub-sector of G-14 would be provided electricity from Sector G-13 grid station through two 11000 KV feeders.

In case of Sector G-14/2, the electrification work would executed with an estimated cost of Rs200 million. This sub-sector would also be served with the help of four feeders of 11000 KV from Sector G-13 grid station, while the Iesco had also completed design of the project.
