Pakistan beat India, Singapore in netball

KARACHI: Pakistan on Wednesday were off to a golden start when they defeated Singapore and India in the Asian Men’s Netball Championship which began in Kuala Lumpur.
Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) said that the Green-shirts defeated Singapore in their opener 72-55 and the last edition’s runners-up also beat India 70-41 to end the day at the top with eight points.Mohammad Akhtar, Usman Bashir, Abid Ali, Mehboob Shah, Muhammad Khursheed, Naseeb Raza and Samad Masood played well. On Thursday (today) Pakistan will meet Hong Kong.In other outings of the day, India prevailed over Hong Kong 48-44, while hosts Malaysia defeated Singapore 54-46.
