Three uplift schemes approved

LAHORE: The Punjab government Tuesday approved three development schemes of health and urban development sectors at an estimated cost of Rs 8.556 billion.
The schemes were approved in the 36th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of the current fiscal year. The approved development schemes are: Purchase of Ventilators and ICU Beds with Basic ICU Equipment in All Teaching Hospitals in Punjab at a cost of Rs 760.850 million; Structural Plan Road from Expo Centre to Ring Road, Parallel to Canal Bank Road, Lahore, at a cost of Rs 4.825 billion and Construction of Structural Road from Expo Centre to Khayban-e-Jinnah, Lahore, at a cost of Rs 2.970 billion.
