Foreign currency seized in Torkham

LANDIKOTAL: Taking action on a tip-off, the authorities seized foreign currency at Torkham border, officials said on Tuesday. Political tehsildar Torkham Shamsul Islam said that the local customs clearing agent identified as Kalimullah was stopped at Torkham border. He said during body search, recovered 0.2 million Saudi riyals were recovered from his possession. He was arrested and sent to Landikotal lock-up for further investigation.
