Orakzai tribesmen asked to cooperate with security forces

HANGU: Sector Commander Brigadier Imran Haider Sherazi has urged tribespeople to keep a vigilant eye on the suspected persons.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the Ghaljo Bypass Road here on Sunday, he asked the tribespeople to cooperate with the security forces and play a role in maintaining law and order in Orakzai Agency.
Member National Assembly Dr G G Jamal, Senator Aurangzeb and Political Agent Khalid Iqbal Wazir were also present on the occasion. The official said peace had been restored to Orakzai Agency and that tribesmen should keep an eye on the suspected activities in the area. He said that development projects were undergoing in Orakzai Agency.
Tribal elders and elected representatives lauded the services of Brigadier Imran Haider. Brigadier Imran Haider was replaced as sector commander by Brigadier Shahzad Ikram. The elders thanked the outgoing officer for his services for maintaining law and order in the agency. Meanwhile, Imran Haider inaugurated the Orakzai Press Club. It was the longstanding demand of the journalists belonging to Orakzai tribal region.
