Malala’s book launched

LAHORE: Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai’s book ‘Mein Malala Hu’ Urdu version was received with great admiration and appreciation by the social elite intellectuals and the literati at the book launching ceremony on Wednesday.
It was a consensus among the speakers that Malala’s struggle gave one message that don’t clip the wings of your daughters and let them peruse their education career. IA Rehman said the book ‘Mein Malala Hu’ is written in simple Urdu language and this is important that she wrote this book before getting a Nobel Peace Prize. He said this book narrates the stories of parents, and valley of Swat.
Pervez Hoodbhoy said, “We need to understand the narrative of those people who attacked the young kid to present our national narrative.”
Prof Dr Khadim Hussain, Faiz Muhammad, Uncle of Malala, Dr Mehdi Haasan, Chairperson HRCP, writer Masood Ashser and writer Zehra Nigah also spoke.
