The Reform Support Unit (RSU) of the Sindh education department on Tuesday distributed ATM cards among 370,000 female students through which they would be able to obtain educational stipends. The remaining 45,000 girls would be given the cards by February 27, claimed an RSU spokesperson.
The students were asked to visit nearby Easy Paisa franchise to get their cards activated.
RSU senior programme manager said students whose names were present in the list but had not received the cards should contact their schools as head teachers had been asked to submit the correct data.
