Vital Five, Al-Noor Gymkhana in final

KARACHI: Vital Five and Al-Noor Gymkhana blasted their way into the final of the Fazal Mehmood National Club Cricket Championship on Thursday.
Al-Noor Gymkhana defeated Liaquatabad Eagles by 41 runs.Al-Noor Gymkhana posted 265 in 50 overs with Daniyal Mansoor scoring 91 and Jawad Alam 78.Hamza Mehmood captured 2-62.Liaquatabad Eagles were folded for only 224 with Sufyan Yousuf hitting fine 80.Ahmed Iqbal and Sanjay got three wickets each.In the other show, Vital Five crushed Hamdam Club by 102 runs.
Vital Five amassed 307 in the allotted 50 overs with Hasan Mehmood blasting 101 and Hafiz Asad Baig making 124. In reply, Hamdam Club perished for 205 with Usama Butt blasting 42. Hasan Mehmood got 4-40, while Fahim Ahmed captured 3-36.
