FIR against Lucman for displaying banners against SC judge

ISLAMABAD: An FIR against TV anchor Mubashir Lucman was registered by Islamabad police the other day for being allegedly behind display of banners against a judge of the Supreme Court and propaganda insulting the judiciary.
Station House Officer (SHO) Aabpara Police station, Mohammad Khalid, was reported to have confirmed the registration of the FIR againstMubashir Lucman.
He said the FIR was registered on a tip of arrested painters, and a journalist, for allegedly writing the banners against a judge of the Supreme Court displayed in the Islamabad Red Zone in May 2014.
Meanwhile, an additional sessions judge Islamabad granted the TV anchor a bail before arrest till February 20.
