Protocol withdrawn

NAWABSHAH: Shaheed Benazirabad SSP Tanveer Hussain Tunio has withdrawn the police protocol given to Chairman District Council Jam Tamachi Unar. Ultimately though, the protocol was being utilised by his son Jam Tabrez Unar. 

The notice of the issue was taken by the Sindh Home Minister after the disclosure that the police protocol was being used for harassing the people. SSP Tanveer Hussain sent four protocol policemen Allah Dita Chandio, Muhammad Hassan Zardari, Qurban Unar and Ali Sher Unar to quarter guard, while the departmental action would also be initiated against them. 

The SSP said that the Home Minister took the notice of the issue following the torture and harassment of a family and ordered to withdraw the protocol meant for the Chairman District Council. On the other hand, questions have arisen on the use of the police protocol for the chairman by his son and its misuse by harassing the public. The people said that law for the common people seems different from the law for the influential persons.
