Police arrest ‘killer of 22’

The West Zone police claimed to have arrested a banned outfit’s operative who has confessed to killing 22 people including political workers and doctors on sectarian grounds.
Addressing a news conference at his office, DIG West Tahir Naveed identified the arrested militant as Ubaidur Rehman and shared details of his confession.
He said a weapon was recovered from Rehman’s possession and added that interrogation remains underway.
