Man poisoned to death by in-laws
LAHORE: A 65-year-old man died in a hospital Sunday, three days after he was shot and injured by his son in Samanabad.
The victim was identified as Ghulam Nabi. It was reported that the accused identified as Ghulam Ali had nursed a grudge against his father as he was not selling his property. He had an exchange of hot words with his father over the issue three days ago and later shot and wounded him. Ghulam Nabi was admitted to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Police shifted the body to the morgue for autopsy and registered a murder case against the accused.
Meanwhile, a man was poisoned to death by his three brothers-in-law. The deceased was identified as Majid Ahmad of Mahmood Booti, Bund Road. The victim told his family that he went to the house of his in-laws to reconcile with his enraged wife but she refused to go with him.
