LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Central leader and former governor of Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that thieves seeking shelter under the PML-N banner can't escape accountability by creating confusion.

Addressing a public meeting at NA-118, Shahdara, Sarwar stated the tirade launched by PML-N against the institutions is national enmity. The PML-N has launched assault on Supreme Court and Army, he said, adding that silence of election commission over PML-N anti-constitutional acts was a question mark.

The confrontation against institutions will weaken the political system and PTI wouldn’t allow the PML-N to carry out any assault on the institutions, he added.  Meanwhile, PPP Central Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira has said the GT Road mission of former prime minister could prove detrimental for institutions. In a statement issued on Sunday, Kaira said that rather than gearing himself up to face NAB and clear himself of the charges he was facing, Nawaz Sharif had termed his disqualification conspiracy. He said none other than Nawaz hatched conspiracy against himself. Kaira further stated that Nawaz Sharif hatched conspiracies against PPP in past and what he was facing now was the outcome of his own deeds.
