Driver, helper killed in accident

MANSEHRA: The driver and helper were killed when an oil-tanker plunged into a ravine in Lower Kohistan on Thursday.
The tanker was trucking petrol to Gilgit-Baltistan from Rawalpindi when the driver lost control over the steering and the tanker skidded off the road and plunged into ravine in Pattan.
“Both the driver and cleaner were burnt to death when the tanker caught fire after it fell into the gorge,” Said Alam, the in-charge of the police control room in Pattan told reporters. He said that charred bodies were retrieved from the tanker after the fire was extinguished completely.
The cop said bodies of driver Nisar Ahmad was dispatched to Khanpur and helper Mohammad Kashif to Bagh in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
