Pakistani working as cop in Bahrain shot dead
A Pakistani national serving as a policeman in Bahrain was shot dead over a personal enmity in Shah Latif Town during the early hours of Wednesday. SSP Malir Rao Anwar identified the vicitim as Afzal Khan and said he was found dead on the Madina Hotel Street.
The officer said a team of the Shah Latif Town police led by SHO Amanullah Marwat reached the crime scene and shifted the body to the JPMC for a post-mortem. He said the medico-legal report of the deceased suggests that he received a single fatal bullet to his chest. He suspected the man was murdered over some personal enmity.
SSP Anwaar maintained that the deceased was serving as a cop in Bahrain and belonged to the Mehsud tribe.
Body found
The Quaidabad police claimed to have recovered a three-month old decomposed body from Gulshan-e-Buner. SSP Malir stated that the body was beyond recognition and had been shifted to the JPMC for autopsy.
