The Election Commission of Pakistan will hold the general elections in 2018. In the 2013 elections, many objections were raised against the institution and a few political parties declared the results ‘unfair’.
The ECP should introduce new reforms so that no party could raise objections on its performance and the process of the elections is carried out smoothly. In a democratic country, elections should be held in a way that there should not be any possibility of rigging and other illegal practices.
