Zain, Saim win tennis titles

KARACHI: M Zain and Saim Danish won titles of their age categories in the 51st SSB Development Series Tennis Championship at Union Club here on Friday. In the final of under-9 singles, Zain beat Hassan Jamal 8-2. Saim defeated Zain M Ali 6-3, 6-4 in the final of under-13 singles.

In the under-17 singles semi-final Mazhar Hayat beat Arham 6-3, 6-1. In the first round of soft tennis event, Eibad Sarwar beat Eraj Batool Zaidi 5-2; Suhaib beat Tahreem Yousuf 5-0; Osama Saeed beat Saim Danish 5-0; and Saad M Ali beat Hania Naviad 5-2.The finals and closing ceremony will be held on Sunday (tomorrow).
