NOWSHERA: Cloths worth millions of rupees were destroyed when fire that was caused by short-circuiting engulfed the market in Pabbi town on Thursday.
Police said the fire razed four shops to the ground in Sheikh Shahbaz Baba Bazaar and Pabbi Station Bazaar. The traders said that cloths worth millions of rupees were gutted in the fire. They said that they suffered losses due to the fault in the fire tender, which could not reach the spot to douse the inferno.
