Upgradation welcomed
Sub-engineers from all across Punjab have expressed their joy over the issuance of notification of upgradation of diploma engineers/technical staff and sub-engineers.
Pakistan Diploma Engineers Federation President Qazi Muhammad Arif, General Secretary Khalid Yasin, Senior Vice-President Abrar Ahmad, Joint Secretary Ziauddin Babar, in a joint statement, said the diploma engineers were thankful particularly to the Punjab chief minister, chief secretary, finance secretary, regulations secretary and communication secretary.
They said special attention was paid to the longstanding issues of diploma engineers/technical staff and they were upgraded which would result in improvement in their performance. The diploma engineers play the role of backbone in the progress of the country but they were vitimised by past governments, they said.
