Three die in mishaps

Karachi: Three young men lost their lives in different incidents on Thursday while two of them were killed in road accidents near Super Highway. 

A 20-year-old man died when his two-wheeler slipped near Zardari Petrol Pump at Super Highway.

SITE Super Highway police station’s SHO Anaar Khan said that the victim was identified as Abbas saon of Hafeez.

Khan said the eye-witnesses on the site of crash told police that Abbas, who lived in Gulshan-e-Maymar had lost control of his bike.

In another accident, a 17-year-old boy died when his speedy motorbike slipped near Five Star CNG Station at Super Highway.

SHO Khan said the victim was identified as Shaam Nawaz, son of Naik Nawaz, who succumbed to his injuries on his way to the hospital.  Khan said the deceased was a resident of Faqeera Goth.

 

Picnicker drowns

A powerful tide swept away a picnicker at Hawkesbay beach as he took a dip in the waters.  According to Maripur police station’s Head Mohrir (HM), Liaquat Ali, 18-year-old Anees, son of Hameed, went for a picnic and  lost his life after drowning.
