The rupee weakened marginally against the dollar in the interbank market on Friday, owing to some imports payments, dealers said. The rupee closed at 105.39/dollar as compared to the previous closing of 105.34. Currency dealers said the rupee showed a weakening trend, but traded in the narrow-range. In the open market, the rupee continued to weaken and trade at 107.20/40 against the dollar.
