Country to win war on terror: CM
Says morale of nation high; people united against enemies of peace

CHIEF Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the war waged by terrorists against humanity by shedding the blood of innocent Pakistanis will have to be won at any cost and Pakistan and its people will achieve the final victory.
The whole nation is united for elimination of terrorism, extremism and sectarianism while intolerance and extremism will be rooted out from the country. Pakistan will be rid of terrorists who have caused an irreparable loss to national economy and the country. A coordinated strategy has been adopted through mutual consultation for eliminating terrorism and the national action plan collectively evolved by the national leadership will greatly help in this regard.
Talking to a delegation of PML-N, here, Sunday, the chief minister said the all-out effort would be made for the effective implementation of national action plan against terrorism.
Counter-Terrorism Force has been set up in the province while vigilance committees are being established at union council level. Shahbaz Sharif said that terrorism would be rooted out through collective efforts and wisdom. Terrorists have shed the blood of Pakistanis at worship places, educational institutions and bazaars and time has come for their accountability.
He said the morale of the nation was high and the masses were united against enemies of peace. He said Pakistanis had not forgotten the worst incident of barbarity in Army Public School
Peshawar and those who martyred innocent children would not escape
punishment.
He said that 180 million brave people of Pakistan would foil the nefarious designs of terrorists. He said that Pakistani people would win the war against terror and the enemies of peace would meet their logical end.
benefits: Shahbaz Sharif has termed the decision taken by Pakistan Muslim League-N government led by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to reduce the prices of petroleum products for the fourth time as people-friendly and directed the provincial administration to take necessary measures for transferring the benefits of this decrease immediately to the masses.
He directed the provincial administration, departments and institutions concerned that there should also be a decrease in the prices of essential items and transport fares in proportion to the reduction in the prices of petroleum products and its benefit should reach the people at any cost.
The chief minister said that immediate steps should be taken for reducing the prices of vegetables and fruits and the institutions concerned should play an active role for ensuring that masses should fully benefit from this public-friendly step of the government. He directed that departments and institutions concerned should ensure availability of petroleum products to the citizens at the fixed rates and there should not be any complaint of non-availability or overcharging at any petrol pump.
Shahbaz Sharif directed that special teams should be constituted for monitoring the situation and a report should be submitted on daily basis. He said people would feel relief in the real sense due to the historic step taken by the government. He said the PML-N government would continue to take such measures in future as well for the benefit of the masses.
