Court summons ex-PM, others in corruption case

ISLAMABAD: An accountability court on Tuesday summoned former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and other accused on July 20 in the Reshma Power Generation Plant corruption case.
Judge Nisar Baig heard a reference against Pervaiz Ashraf and other accused including former Water and Power secretary Shahid Rafi, Ghulam Mustafa, Fayyaz Elahi and NA Zaidi, filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The NAB counsel submitted that the accused had caused a loss to the national exchequer. The court directed all the accused to ensure their presence at next hearing.
