Patwari suspended in Battagram

BATTAGRAM: Deputy Commissioner Zariful Maani suspended a patwari and ordered an inquiry against him for financial irregularities and non-performance of duty.
There were complaints against the patwari Mohammad Tufail, who was allegedly not performing duty and had created problems for the people. He was found involved in financial embezzlement.
When contacted, Zariful Maani said a multi-pronged drive had been launched to check corruption and improve the different sectors in the districts.
