ISLAMABAD: With reference to The News story titled “JIT didn’t bother to share info with SC judges” by Ahmad Noorani published on front page on June 29, 2017, it was reported that even the confidential report submitted by the Panama Joint Investigation Team (JIT) only for the perusal of the Supreme Court judges submitted within 24 hours of disclosure of picture leak didn’t disclose the identity and name of the organisation of the person who leaked the picture of Hussain Nawaz.
However, as a matter of fact, the said confidential JIT report bears “the name of the organisation” of the person who leaked the picture of Hussain Nawaz. The report shows there is no mention of the name of the person or any of his other identity details. The error is regretted.
