Youth handball team to leave for Mauritius on 10th
KARACHI: Pakistan youth handball team will leave for Mauritius on July 10 to feature in the World Youth Beach Handball Championship to be held there from July 11-16.
Pakistan Handball Federation (PHF) said on Tuesday that the event also serves as qualifying round for the Youth Olympics to be held in Argentina next year.
The PHF hopes that the team will qualify for the Youth Olympics. Pakistan have been placed in Group A with Brazil, Chinese Taipei and Mauritius.
Pakistan will face world champions Brazil and Chinese Taipei on July 11. On July 12 Pakistan will face Mauritius.
